From Chip City to Croissant Empire

This week, we're thrilled to feature Somedays Bakery!


The Queens-based bakery just opened its first Manhattan location in Flatiron.


Founded by Peter Phillips, co-founder and CEO of Chip City Cookies.

European Vibe Meets Bold Innovation

Somedays focuses on Viennoiserie — traditional French laminated pastries with creative twists.


They make everything from scratch using New Zealand butter and seed oil-free recipes.


Chief Culinary Officer Arlander Brown - an alum of Librae - leads the menu with wild flavors like shepherd's pie croissant and Beetlejuice croissant.

Rapid Expansion Across NYC

Started in Astoria in 2023 and quickly became a local favorite.


Now operates four NYC locations with plans to expand nationwide through franchising.


The Manhattan location features exclusive pastries like the Medialuna — an Argentinian mini croissant with vanilla bean glaze.
