Chef Fany Gerson steeps Mexican cinnamon sticks in water to create a fragrant tea that gets incorporated right into the dough.

You can't taste the cinnamon directly, but it gives the doughnuts this light, ethereal quality.

She grinds her own Mexican cinnamon fresh daily, makes her own sprinkles from dragon fruit powder and mango turmeric, and creates natural glazes from real fruit.

Everything's made from scratch in small batches throughout the day.

Fan Fan Doughnuts earned a 2025 James Beard Award nomination for Outstanding Bakery.

Gerson trained at the Culinary Institute of America and worked at elite NYC restaurants like Eleven Madison Park.

At Fan Fan, she's bringing all that expertise to doughnuts that draw from her Mexican and Jewish heritage, creating flavors you won't find anywhere else.

The rotating menu includes everything from Mexican Cinnamon Sugar to Mango Lassi to the Danny Boy, a brown butter salted caramel creation named after her husband.
