Cakes That Are Works of Are
This week, we're thrilled to feature Tipsy & Baked!
This is a first for Treat Day — our first independent baker, operating out of a SoHo studio apartment kitchen.
And honestly, we couldn't have picked a better one to break that seal with.
Tipsy & Baked is a one-woman show run by a self-described maximalist who has built a serious reputation in NYC's food and events world entirely through word of mouth and Instagram.
Her clients include Nicholas Braun, Broadway productions, and high-profile cookbook launches — and every single cake she makes is built around a concept, a story, and a level of craft that makes it genuinely hard to cut into.
Cakes That Make an Entrance
In her own words: "Cakes are meant to make an entrance and at tipsy&baked we are here for the drama."
Chrome finishes, freehand piping, edible nails, dehydrated mandarin slices, gooseberries rolled in gold luster dust.
This is not a baker who does "simple."
Every cake starts with a brief — a theme, a person, a moment — and gets built out from there with a level of creative detail that belongs in a gallery as much as at a party.
Flavor That Matches the Looks
Brown butter cake with red wine poached pears and whipped vanilla mascarpone.
Lemon poppy seed with strawberry buttercream.
Classic red velvet with cream cheese frosting that hits every single time.
The flavors are as considered as the decoration — rich, intentional, and deeply satisfying.
We can't wait for you to experience Tipsy & Baked! ✌️🗽
