Pastries That Look Too GOod To Be Real
This week, we're thrilled to feature Petit Chou!
Self-taught chef Bassim Nasr has been making some of the best pastries in the city since opening in 2020.
The display case rivals a Parisian patisserie with eclairs and viennoiserie that look almost too perfect to be real.
Fans call them "works of art" that "taste even better than they look."
Choux Pastry Perfection
Petit Chou specializes in choux pastry—the base for eclairs, cream puffs, and profiteroles.
When prepared properly, it's light, crispy, with a tender interior and a perfectly hollow center.
The pistachio eclair is filled with rich pistachio cremeux that's as close to perfection as pastries get.
Signature tiramisu cream puffs layer chocolate choux with coffee cream, coffee jam, and mascarpone whip.
Beyond Eclairs
The double chocolate croissant features infinite layers of laminated chocolate dough with chocolate batons inside, then filled with chocolate cremeux.
Croissants are baked with French butter to a deep golden brown with so many fine layers they look AI-generated.
The chocolate chip cookie is a hefty hockey-puck-sized specimen that's gooey inside with a crunchy outside shell.
We can't wait for you to experience Petit Chou!
